Building completed with zero issues on Gentoo with kernel 6.18.33. However I have the misfortune of building from a newer Thinkpad (E560) with hybrid graphics, so the client refuses to start after what appears to be a keygen operation:

Am fiddling with some settings in the `euconfig.ini` file to see if I can coax into starting. I feel certain this is fault of my graphics setup entirely, so will keep trying to refine it.
vamp built cleanly and works flawlessly, that's another rabbit hole I need to read up on. Nice work!
The relevant error message seems to be in there: "Graphics display does not support basic GLX configuration". So yes, it looks very much like an issue with the graphics card/setup breaking compatibility with the most basic configuration, though most likely at a deeper level than the euconfig.ini can address. The euconfig.ini is more about user preferences than anything else.
I would look more closely at the installed OpenGL and/or what configurations it supports or more specifically what it needs to support the most basic, standard one.
If memory serves, there was someone else who ran into some issues with a too new graphics card and had it solved, perhaps they see this and comment as well.
