[07:08] Felicia Solecrimp: multumesc
[08:33] Diana Coman: welcome back Felicia Solecrimp
Day changed to 2026-06-05
[16:41] Felicia Solecrimp: Rainer Tracksnarl where are you?
[16:41] Rainer Tracksnarl: Felicia Solecrimp, I am currently at -40.81 95.05 32.33 in Preposterously Prosperous Place
[16:54] Felicia Solecrimp: Wolfgang Middlesit where are you?
[16:54] Wolfgang Middlesit: Felicia Solecrimp, I am currently at -17.98 99.77 -15.75 in Preposterously Prosperous Place
[17:20] Felicia Solecrimp: I got 200 ql 11 ,17 ql 96 and 20 ql 1 of little bit of nothing will someone want to buy it for me?
[17:25] Felicia Solecrimp: Found an ordinary in -59 z=245
[17:25] Felicia Solecrimp: non descript tubers
[19:31] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, congrats on the ord. On the lbn, I'll buy q11 but in larger quantities really because my char uses more than 60 per claim, so it needs to be at least 1k to make any sense really. Either let it pile up or if you need to sell faster, maybe Raphael Nethersmell buys smaller quantities too?
[21:06] Raphael Nethersmell: Faith Kidneyguard where are you?
[21:06] Faith Kidneyguard: Raphael Nethersmell, I am currently at 36.08 99.41 40.84 in Preposterously Prosperous Place
[21:08] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, I'll buy the q11 and q1 lbn from you at 110%

[12:30] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/02/Notices-and-Announcements-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#246 - oh hey, happy new euloran year!
[12:30] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-02 (Notices and Announcements) Ulrich Logfetch: ** Euloran economic activity during one month to day 00 of month 00, year 8 (era 1): PCs' held value in items increased by 30`260 and their cash decreased by 4`146; NPCs' held value in items increased by 4`137 and their cash increased by 4`146; environment value decreased by 434`988. All amounts are shown in Euloran Shell (10`000 Shells to 1 Copper). **
[17:24] Raphael Nethersmell: hney !
[17:28] Raphael Nethersmell: I've taken some notes and ran some calculation on euloran survival via botting, will turn it into a proper articles, but for now, here's the skeleton. i'm curious to know about other's metabolic rates.
[17:31] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/02/02/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Feb-2026/#4276 -- if you've been running the bot consistently, you can check the data/logs_bot_diary.txt to verify.
[17:31] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-02-09 (Eulora 2) Vivian Sporepress: it looks like indeed all months have an even 24 days; I'm just missing the full range from m7 but it'll be coming back around soon.
[18:17] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, quite interesting use of the data actually and indeed, one wonders how much variation is there from char to char, heh. Not sure on the different intervals for the meals, as they don't seem to fit the numbers given so perhaps worth double-checking those (or maybe quick coding something for basic calculation with euloran numbers). Possibly worth keeping as well the boundary euloran/earth more rigidly in place since it's quite a big boundary and through its nature rather more difficult to confidently model beyond something more along the lines of "as currently observed" at best...
[18:21] Diana Coman: kind of wondering how stable the recovery is, too, possibly not that difficult to obtain from the bot logs via the rest intervals
[18:23] Diana Coman: perhaps if there are some scripts to run against the bot logs to obtain the same info in a consistent manner across different chars, people wouldn't mind running them and sharing the results
[18:42] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, thanks I'll check the numbers again. one of the challenges for me wrt measuring the recovery via the log is that I often run it down past the configured minv. for example, when I train gathering, I typically just run `bot explore drunk/gridmove` because I want the most gathering attempts possible in the session (mine are lasting close to 30 earth minutes of late). once I see the session has ended and vitals are low, I'll run the normal sequence because I wantit to resume the lbn harvest as son as possible w/ lowest input from me. i guess the script could see if there was a prior training session, but then again there is nowhere in the bot log that reports the actual vitals, it only says if it has rested enough or not.
[18:47] Raphael Nethersmell: all that being said, my results show that it's rather trivial to survive in eulora off lbn harvest alone. all that's needed is some thoughtful config construction, stable net connection and checking now and again that client-server encryption mismatch isn't causing your attempts to timeout without results. if so, restart client to stabilize client-server encryption.
[19:04] Raphael Nethersmell: i finally found a patch of dcs, only resource left for me to find < 1k shell is lh, then next ones the value ladder ss, pn, dm and h, though I don't yet have a patch of tpt. i did find a second patch of tlc.
[19:45] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5598 -- i'm at around this cost too for basics. but for wwb and up, it costs me more like 20 lbn. so for the most part I've only been building tinies of those, apart from when training, when I've been more likly to build smalls. or tiny pss.
[19:45] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-05 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, congrats on the ord. On the lbn, I'll buy q11 but in larger quantities really because my char uses more than 60 per claim, so it needs to be at least 1k to make any sense really. Either let it pile up or if you need to sell faster, maybe Raphael Nethersmell buys smaller quantities too?
[19:48] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/05/01/Eulora-2-Logs-for-May-2026/#5583 -- i'll buy 5k cdg q1. my limiting factor for buying others is low q diagrams/sketches/recipes.
[19:48] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-05-19 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: as my cavern-stocking with basics is progressing nicely (at least for q1, that is), I can offer currently any basic resource at q1 for 110%. Depending on the quantity, it might take a while to fill in some larger order but I'll have at least some estimate for it. Higher q might be available too but at a different markup and on a case by case basis.
[21:22] Felicia Solecrimp: Rob are you here ?
[21:22] Felicia Solecrimp: I want to sell you the little bit of nothing
[21:30] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, I'm omw back to ppp right now, where are you ?
[21:36] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, thinking about investing skills in n00bs in exchange for lbn. my thought is to offer 90% less than the cheapest skill being sold by the npcs. if i'm selling q5 or q1, this could result in me receiving more value than if I sold them directly, and actually a markup on the qabv basis, but since it's unclear whether the quality of the skill does anything and it's better to have some skill than no skill, doesn't seem to me like i'd be giving them a bad deal.
[21:43] Rainer Tracksnarl: Raphael Nethersmell, that's worth about 8.6k shells more than what you're offering.
[21:43] Felicia Solecrimp: Im let see
[21:44] Raphael Nethersmell: Vivian Sporepress & Nestor Nethercross & Felicia Solecrimp, curious on your thoughts on skill pricing too.
[21:44] Felicia Solecrimp: -75 304
[21:44] Felicia Solecrimp: x=-75 z=304
[21:45] Felicia Solecrimp: I dont know where is vivian right now havent been able to contact him the whole day
[21:45] Felicia Solecrimp: Im currently studying but I cant really think about anything else right now :c
[21:46] Felicia Solecrimp: and i dont want to bother his mom asking where is vivian
[21:46] Raphael Nethersmell: simmer down, he's probbaly just elbow deep in lobster.
[21:47] Felicia Solecrimp: yeh
[21:47] Felicia Solecrimp: ah btw im overbulk
[21:47] Felicia Solecrimp: so i cant move
[21:48] Felicia Solecrimp: but still got food
[21:49] Raphael Nethersmell: ok, i'll make it to you in about 15 mins.
[21:53] Felicia Solecrimp: okay
[22:03] Felicia Solecrimp: Im going to rainer
[22:03] Felicia Solecrimp: I not overbulk anymore
[22:14] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, I have a bunch of q1 boulders to lug from a couple of sectors away, if you want to help me, I offer to let you keep have of what you carry back.
[22:15] Raphael Nethersmell: I wrote the ~ in front of the 2 because it only requires 2 sector changes if you know what you're doing.
[22:17] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, I'm here, start the trade when you're ready.
[22:18] Raphael Nethersmell: I built my first ord and got the great sifter out of it.
[22:25] Felicia Solecrimp: i got 675 ql 11 27 ql 96
[22:25] Felicia Solecrimp: and 67 ql 1
[22:26] Felicia Solecrimp: sure i can help you with your boulders
[22:32] Raphael Nethersmell: ok, I just want the q11 & q1, not the q96
[22:33] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp you locked the offer with the wrong amounts.
[22:34] Raphael Nethersmell: let's cancel & start over.
[22:38] Felicia Solecrimp: i dont know how to cancel
[22:43] Raphael Nethersmell: i locked my offer (of nothing) and then clicked no on accept.
[22:48] Felicia Solecrimp: but i already put the value that you wanted ?
[22:49] Felicia Solecrimp: this is a new exchange
[22:51] Felicia Solecrimp: the exchange ended
[22:52] Raphael Nethersmell: on the original you locked 300 q11 & 10 q96 & 30 q1, when I said I wanted the 675 q11 and 67 q1. which works out to 807 shell.
[22:52] Raphael Nethersmell: 907 shell.
[22:53] Felicia Solecrimp: you want it all :o ?
[22:54] Raphael Nethersmell: yes.
[22:54] Felicia Solecrimp: its okay i guess
[22:54] Raphael Nethersmell: i mean, Diana Coman, told you her minimum buy is 1k lbn. lolz.
[22:58] Raphael Nethersmell: I can make like 33 tlc with those lbn, which at q5 is 1.8k shell or ~double what Ipaid for the lbn.
[23:04] Raphael Nethersmell: for the boulders, the claim is in vast ramp of immensity, which is south 2 and west 1 from ppp. so first, issue `relocate x=-511 z=-511`
[23:05] Raphael Nethersmell: then do forcepos to update the client pos and your pos on the server.
[23:06] Raphael Nethersmell: keep doing that cycle until you change sectors to rich ramp of imperfection, which is -1, -1
[23:07] Raphael Nethersmell: once you're in rri, issue `relocate x=188 z=-511`
[23:42] Raphael Nethersmell: once you're in vri, the loot is at x=188 z=-282
Day changed to 2026-06-10
[08:59] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, I have a phantom exchange for the past ~10h (since I traded w/ Felicia Solecrimp) that persists client restarts. it seems to be preventing me from trading w/ Rainer Tracksnarl. mind having a look ?
[09:01] Raphael Nethersmell: nvm, looks like went away now. lol.
[14:27] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5612 - it certainly is, yes.
[14:27] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-09 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: all that being said, my results show that it's rather trivial to survive in eulora off lbn harvest alone. all that's needed is some thoughtful config construction, stable net connection and checking now and again that client-server encryption mismatch isn't causing your attempts to timeout without results. if so, restart client to stabilize client-server encryption.
[14:29] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5616 - after I've just used up some 10k+ to make cft, lolz. I have currently only 2.5k cdg q1 remaining - do you want this or would you rather wait until I get the full 5k? I was out precisely in the cdg patch to replenish but it looks set to take at least 1 day more to get to 5k q1.
[14:29] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-09 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/05/01/Eulora-2-Logs-for-May-2026/#5583 -- i'll buy 5k cdg q1. my limiting factor for buying others is low q diagrams/sketches/recipes.
[14:31] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5621 - not quite sure I fully follow the 90% less, how do you mean that? The NPCs ask for 120% qabv, for skill items as for anything else so probably anything below 120% is anyway a better deal for any buyer. This aside, noobs are best exactly to get low q items so dunno, I guess I'd much rather make a deal with a noob to have them click to get some recipes q1 for instance or such
[14:31] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-09 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, thinking about investing skills in n00bs in exchange for lbn. my thought is to offer 90% less than the cheapest skill being sold by the npcs. if i'm selling q5 or q1, this could result in me receiving more value than if I sold them directly, and actually a markup on the qabv basis, but since it's unclear whether the quality of the skill does anything and it's better to have some skill than no skill, doesn't seem to me like i'd be giving them a bad deal.
[14:32] Diana Coman: those lingering exchanges are something I need to look into serverside - they *do* go away eventually but there is a corner case where that eventually is rather way longer than wanted, sorry
[14:34] Diana Coman: from the blog, since it's something that comes up with some regularity so it finally got written down as well to have where to point interested people and have any relevant discussion: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/10/talking-about-mircea-popescu-and-tmsr/
[17:35] Felicia Solecrimp: ive learn that it is normal to hear voices sometimes that it is something from my past the problem is when those voices tell me things that want to make me harm myself which they havent they just tell me things that make me feel upset but i dont have the strength to harm myself
[17:35] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5670 -- i'll wait for the full 5k, not rush. did anything interesting come out of your cft run ?
[17:35] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-10 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5616 - after I've just used up some 10k+ to make cft, lolz. [17:35] Felicia Solecrimp: no matter how stress iam
[17:37] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, you could reframe it that your strength to live is stronger than whatever those voices "say".
[17:37] Felicia Solecrimp: sort of
[17:37] Felicia Solecrimp: it has hurt my self steem but it doesnt mean it makes me want to die
[17:38] Felicia Solecrimp: so yeah maybe you are right
[17:40] Felicia Solecrimp: i still got hope for the world
[17:48] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, there's still >3k boulders in that spot mentioned above if you want to lug.
[18:09] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5672 -- what is mean is, I have various q1 skills. currently w/ Wolfgang Middlesit, the lowest q sms is 11, with a 120% markup, he's charging 1452 shell. a q1 sms is qabv 110 shell. if I offer it at 1452*.9 = 1306 shell, i obviously get a massive markup on the q1 sms, but the player still gets the skill at a discount to what the npc is offering. this would only work for skills since quality isn't known to affect their utility. my question is, is that a fair "loophole" to offer or too... extractive on my part.
[18:09] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-10 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5621 - not quite sure I fully follow the 90% less, how do you mean that? [19:28] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, ah, I understand now what you mean. It can potentially backfire I guess if/when the NPCs just drop eventually the skill items they have but otherwise I really don't see any problem with it - first of all 1.3k still sounds quite low for a skill item anyhow so hardly extractive really and second the trouble is never with the amount that one may gain (or not) as such but only ever if it's something blocking/breaking the play overall really, which is certainly not the case here at all.
[19:33] Diana Coman: my cft run was really mostly informative in terms of adjusting for wanted outcomes, otherwise the rather usual steady relatively low output with the occasional mini-pop making up for the rest. At the sweet spot, I'd get one cft and a couple of recipes each time, with more cft from mini-pops. Otherwise the total values involved at which it worked this way weren't overall all that large so can't really say if I didn't get anything else more interesting because the run was not long/lucky enough or simply because the value was never high enough...
[20:36] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5688 -- sounds good, I'm not worrying about it backfiring, not like i'm using the future cash flows to take out loans, lol. plus, someone else w/ excess skills can always offer a lower bid.
[20:36] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-10 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, ah, I understand now what you mean. [20:41] Raphael Nethersmell: in other skills, I'll offer my newly acquired 'the great sifter' q1 for the same 13337 shell I bought mine for. Nestor Nethercross, Vivian Sporepress, any interest ? an ancient, but evergreen trilema hints it apparently helps with mainly basic resources.
[20:41] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-02-24 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/02/02/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Feb-2026/#4697 -- heard and bid : 13337 shell
[20:48] Felicia Solecrimp: i feel somehow the world has become predictable and is kind of making it hard for me to produce ideas
[20:49] Raphael Nethersmell: roll some dice then.
[21:04] Felicia Solecrimp: i got no interest im pretty much bored
[21:27] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, fwiw that sounds like focusing way too much on what is outside of your control and way too little on what *is* under your control
Day changed to 2026-06-11
[00:03] Felicia Solecrimp: thats true diana
[00:03] Felicia Solecrimp: i notice that if i dont learn how to control my stress i related to bad things
[00:04] Felicia Solecrimp: those thoughts that i have in my mind is because stress
[00:16] Felicia Solecrimp: sometimes i think i have problems with people but is just stress
[01:22] Felicia Solecrimp: who is stephen felinesmooch
[01:46] Felicia Solecrimp: I need to also understand my limits
[01:46] Felicia Solecrimp: sometimes im to hard on myself
[08:14] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, everyone struggles with these things at one point or another and to various extent
[08:15] Diana Coman: Stephen Felinesmooch is one of the NPCs around
[08:15] Diana Coman: Irene Dancecove, Sadie Earthsee, I gave you a rate so you can speak in here if you wish
[08:52] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, 5k cdg q1 are ready
[16:38] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, ok, where are you ?
[18:40] Irene Dancecove: Hello Eulora! Irene Dancecove here, a brand-new Euloran taking my first steps. Off to poke at some crumbly rocks - wish me luck!
[18:40] Irene Dancecove: That was a lovely first wander - found some crumbly rock among the boulders. Goodnight Eulora, see you next time!
[18:40] Irene Dancecove: Back from the far west boulder slopes at (-345,-6)! Hauled 6 Tiny Claim Keys plus rock, boulder and tuber ennumerations. The frontier is real, come west sometime!
[18:41] Irene Dancecove: help
[18:41] Irene Dancecove: Session lesson: claim keys remember their marker, locks hold (I locked three claims today!), but an Ennumeration alone will not work a claim - need to find what else it takes. Slow and steady.
[19:00] Felicia Solecrimp: hey
[19:00] Felicia Solecrimp: im felicia
[19:01] Felicia Solecrimp: nwe characters !!
[19:16] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, I'm at my tree, 0, -30
[19:19] Diana Coman: welcome Irene Dancecove and congrats on your first finds. Reading ennumerations might help, perhaps. And heh, the frontier comes in multiples, endless ones even!
[19:32] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, ready.
[19:33] Raphael Nethersmell: Do you have change for a copper ?
[19:33] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, I don't have the change atm, no
[19:34] Raphael Nethersmell: ok, let's cancel it and I'll go run to an npc for change.
[19:40] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, it's probably faster to complete this exchange as it is now and I'll go split the copper and bring back the change
[19:41] Raphael Nethersmell: ok
[19:46] Diana Coman: I needed to buy a new craft-table anyhow
[19:50] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, still need you to lock before I can accept the exchange
[19:52] Raphael Nethersmell: Diana Coman, I have a 2044305343 with not-yet-known hanging and I don't see the window with you.
[19:55] Diana Coman: hm, it failed here, 1 sec
[19:56] Diana Coman: Raphael Nethersmell, does it show now? It's a new one here.
[19:57] Raphael Nethersmell: seems like it just refreshed.. same id.
[19:57] Diana Coman: but still not-yet-known?
[19:58] Raphael Nethersmell: yes.
[19:59] Raphael Nethersmell: we weren't close enough.
[19:59] Diana Coman: try an exchange with my char, it should re-request and thus refresh either with a new id or with known at least
[19:59] Diana Coman: oh, lol
[20:00] Diana Coman: neah, it looks more like some traffic delays, because now it opened a new one, meh
[20:01] Raphael Nethersmell: and I can't even eat my smm in the meantime ! lolz.
[20:01] Diana Coman: I guess this will just need a cooldown in between opening exchanges even if it can get in the way at times
[20:01] Diana Coman: if you see this latest fully, just lock + accept it so it goes away at least
[20:02] Felicia Solecrimp: Raphael Nethersmell the boulders dissapear
[20:03] Diana Coman: there, finally free of exchanges11!
[20:03] Raphael Nethersmell: you sure, I was just over there. they're in the marker. I'll be over in a minute to check on you.
[20:11] Felicia Solecrimp: im in the 188
[20:11] Felicia Solecrimp: 205
[20:11] Felicia Solecrimp: and i dont see it
[20:19] Raphael Nethersmell: i'm here and the claim is here too.
[20:20] Raphael Nethersmell: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5665 -- maybe reread the log and double check you're in the right spot ?
[20:20] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-09 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: once you're in vri, the loot is at x=188 z=-282
[20:35] Raphael Nethersmell: Felicia Solecrimp, I left a couple of bags of boulders outside the claim in case it's not accessible to you.
[21:02] Felicia Solecrimp: yeah i really dont see them
[21:06] Raphael Nethersmell: be there in a couple of minutes.
[23:39] Felicia Solecrimp: Raphael Nethersmell im kinda lost
[23:39] Felicia Solecrimp: imstill looking for the adress
[23:39] Raphael Nethersmell: what sector are you in ?
[23:42] Felicia Solecrimp: im still in the ramp of imperfection
[23:44] Felicia Solecrimp: hey it seems i was right about soccer today mexico won 2-0
[23:44] Felicia Solecrimp: brb need to take a shower
Day changed to 2026-06-12
[00:05] Felicia Solecrimp: okay im here
[00:06] Felicia Solecrimp: where are you ?
[00:06] Felicia Solecrimp: im at 188 -282
[00:13] Raphael Nethersmell: like I told you a few times by now, it's not in rich ramp of imperfection.... it's in vamp ramp of immensity, which is south of rri.
[00:14] Raphael Nethersmell: so.. from where you are, do relocate x=188 z=-511 , then relocate x=188 z=-282
[00:19] Felicia Solecrimp: i got to the funny hammock of glum
[00:22] Felicia Solecrimp: im still lost ?
[00:23] Raphael Nethersmell: you went north instead of south..
[00:24] Felicia Solecrimp: oh sorry
[00:24] Felicia Solecrimp: how can I get back ?
[00:25] Felicia Solecrimp: im not very good navigating through maps
[00:30] Raphael Nethersmell: relocate x=188 z=-511
[00:31] Raphael Nethersmell: then use that to continue south to VRI..
[00:43] Felicia Solecrimp: do you know how to use the map i forgot
[01:00] Raphael Nethersmell: press p, and/or check your euconfig.ini
[01:20] Felicia Solecrimp: I got back to pp
[01:20] Felicia Solecrimp: i tried to went north but i went south
[01:22] Felicia Solecrimp: i cant seem to understand the maps yet
[01:31] Raphael Nethersmell: it might help to draw it out. i did that before the maps got implemented in the client and still refer to the paper maps.
[01:56] Irene Dancecove: What a day of gathering! Crisscrossed six fields from the home crumbly rocks to the far boulder valley - 10 claim keys and 10 ennumerations richer (even if the keys keep rotting on me). Good night, Eulora, and good luck out there!
[02:15] Felicia Solecrimp: nice
[02:16] Felicia Solecrimp: are you a girl or a boy ?
[02:20] Raphael Nethersmell: welcome Irene Dancecove ! I'd say the keys ferment rather than rot, for with time they transform into highly useful little bits of nothing.
[02:24] Raphael Nethersmell: Good night Irene, I, for one, am curious to see your e2enthusiasm when you figure out your char can dance all night botexploring !
[20:50] Felicia Solecrimp: hello it is someone here and now ?
[20:50] Felicia Solecrimp: I got a question
[20:51] Felicia Solecrimp: it is posible to see what others see from our point of view in the game ? like an alternate camera to discover new worlds or would that take the fun of the game ?
[20:53] Felicia Solecrimp: I found my first worthless puthrid leather
[23:08] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, recording your screen and perhaps putting together short stories with it could be perhaps something like you describe I guess
[23:08] Diana Coman: if you enjoy making them and keep at it, why not
[23:10] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, if you struggle with map navigation, maybe write down how you currently think it's working and then see what doesn't quite add up in practice.
[23:15] Diana Coman: all the play in e2 is literally discovering a new world bit by bit but like everywhere the actual discovery depends on who is looking first of all - or at least that's where the most potential really is, in what each person makes of something and well, that is up to each to make public if/when they wish and in whatever form they want
[23:21] Diana Coman: if you literally mean just the graphics, that's more a matter of playing around some more with the gfx generator since that's exactly what one does with the sort of generator(s) I made for e2, exploring more or less different ways of *depicting* various spaces.
[23:23] Diana Coman: and each new euloran pushes a bit this very sort of visual exploration as they play, since they bring into the game a new shape that is uniquely their own for instance
[23:25] Diana Coman: visuals get some meaning though only through their use in game and what players make of them
[23:28] Diana Coman: otherwise just the easy part of flicking through more pictures no matter how pretty still gets one nowhere really and quite fast (for the very fundamental reason that there is no meaning obtained just like that out of pure visuals without any context)
Day changed to 2026-06-13
[02:27] Felicia Solecrimp: no i dont got a problem with the graphics
[02:29] Felicia Solecrimp: i was thinking like a map where it can remember where we located our belongings like cordinates i know that vivian and raphael got their own way of making maps but maybe a map where we can save where we found our resources like to next to our character ?
[02:31] Felicia Solecrimp: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=mapa+como+juego+de+guerra&ia=images&iax=images&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fbrigada.es%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F04%2Fjuego_de_mesa_guerra_civil_espanolaii.jpg something to remember where we already being
[08:44] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, well, all the information is there really, in the logs and/or in the knowledge files in that data dir on your own computer, so you just need to put in the work to show it in whatever form/image you want. You can even use the console to make notes (and easily find them with a grep via that note command) but what (or if) you choose to do with that is really up to you. There are all sorts of things one *could* do but either one does it themselves since they find it useful or otherwise one pays another to do it for them, whichever form that payment might take.
[08:49] Diana Coman: such a thing would even be exactly one way of "adding a story to it" as I was saying earlier, a story can be told in many different ways and it's the teller who picks what works for them
[08:53] Diana Coman: if there is some further support that such story tellers find they need from the game, they can of course make a case for it and if it makes sense, it will be added to the game itself as well, but such addition comes after there is an actual, visible, sustained use case for it, not before, simply because it's only concrete use that can inform and make it clear as to what really is useful, otherwise it's just chasing fantasies really.
[09:10] Diana Coman: I guess there would also be the option to make a mini-map integrated in game showing graphically whatever one wants - it's possible, it's certainly doable, perhaps it can make an appealing project for some player who wants to get involved, sure.
[16:48] Raphael Nethersmell: Faith Kidneyguard where are you?

[01:24] Vivian Sporepress: http://ossasepia.com/2026/05/01/Eulora-2-Logs-for-May-2026/#5579 - I spotted someone's bounteous boulder claim, looking nicely geodesic
[01:24] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-05-15 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: o.O this is a...Bounteous Claim, first time I even see such a thing.
[01:26] Vivian Sporepress: hey Felicia Solecrimp I see you
[01:32] Vivian Sporepress: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5778 - hello Irene Dancecove. How big is a field where you're from?
[01:32] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-12 (Eulora 2) Irene Dancecove: What a day of gathering! Crisscrossed six fields from the home crumbly rocks to the far boulder valley - 10 claim keys and 10 ennumerations richer (even if the keys keep rotting on me). Good night, Eulora, and good luck out there!
[01:37] Vivian Sporepress: distances can be a bit funny around here anyway, sometimes things are not as far as they seem... I guess it's all a matter of perspective, plus efficiency of motion
[08:32] Diana Coman: wb Vivian Sporepress. That bounteous claim at least endures so far but given that it requires escherian trestlework, dulce de roca and bandar toolkit bundles not to mention resources not yet found, I guess I'll stand a chance to build it only if Rainer Tracksnarl expands his bundles offer to cover bounteous claims, perhaps...
[16:55] Vivian Sporepress: Raphael Nethersmell: was it after getting sortage that your lbn requirements for building basics started to climb? because mine is still 15-20 atm and you passed me on ziggurating not that long ago
[17:01] Vivian Sporepress: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5692 - so far I'm not moved to raise my prior high bid of 11`100, but open to hearing a case
[17:01] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-10 (Eulora 2) Raphael Nethersmell: in other skills, I'll offer my newly acquired 'the great sifter' q1 for the same 13337 shell I bought mine for. Nestor Nethercross, Vivian Sporepress, any interest ? an ancient, but evergreen trilema hints it apparently helps with mainly basic resources.
Day changed to 2026-06-17
[08:21] Diana Coman: fwiw I seem to get consistently higher quality on basics so it's not just eating up more lbn/cft
Day changed to 2026-06-19
[17:02] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/03/Eulora-2-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#5674 - this corner case got addressed now so please let me know if you still experience any exchanges that take a really long time to go away
[17:02] Ulrich Logfetch: Quoting 2026-06-10 (Eulora 2) Diana Coman: those lingering exchanges are something I need to look into serverside - they *do* go away eventually but there is a corner case where that eventually is rather way longer than wanted, sorry
[17:07] Diana Coman: and in some advances to impermanent landscaping, new claims should be more likely to come up closer to upright at all times, even when their builder is not necessarily standing all that up or that right!
[21:06] Vivian Sporepress: Diana Coman: sounds better about the claim placement; from what I noticed, my rx and rz tend to be thrown off by doing a relocate command that doesn't specifically set them, as if they were defaulting to some uninitialized stack variable
[21:27] Vivian Sporepress: Diana Coman: comment in your mod queue; I attempted an <img> which was understandably blocked, src was http://jfxpt.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/einsteinsimplified.jpg . more oddly it seems the <blockquote> didn't make it either.

[00:50] Felicia Solecrimp: it was true
[00:50] Felicia Solecrimp: i learn so much more from stoping
[00:50] Felicia Solecrimp: ai aint gonna help me resolve my issue with bad spelling
[00:50] Felicia Solecrimp: but somehow is going to teach me how to use better grammar maybe
[00:51] Felicia Solecrimp: i learn that right now at my house is a very noisy environment
[00:51] Felicia Solecrimp: and thats what got me trigger into stress
[00:51] Felicia Solecrimp: making me want to consume things that i dont want to
[00:55] Felicia Solecrimp: sorry for writing again by clumps i forgot to write together also i can actually learn but there is no motivation at home just distraction my mom likes to interrupt me every two seconds to talk to me in order to concentrate i need silence what im lacking from vivians home making a workable place will be the challenge
[09:25] Diana Coman: Vivian Sporepress, the blockquote tab is preserved and shows in the comment once approved, it's only the preview that strips ~everything. The img is stripped indeed, I've manually put in the link simply as href
[09:26] Diana Coman: and good point on the relocate clientside likely messing up the rx, rz, perhaps I'll have a look at it next time I make changes clientside
[09:31] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, making one's own quiet place to focus is generally attainable even in less than ideal environments, it's more a matter of how determined you are to make it happen (e.g. noise-blocking headsets + clearly setting and enforcing do-not-disturb/will-not-answer times is pretty much all it takes and is doable anywhere).
[12:10] Diana Coman: testing <img> &<blockquote>

[00:17] Felicia Solecrimp: thank you thats true
[00:18] Felicia Solecrimp: i want to ask is eulora a puzzle or adventure game ?
[08:53] Diana Coman: I'd say it has elements of both (and more besides). One can play it as a puzzle if they prefer or as an adventure game or even as a social sim, I don't see any problem with any of it
[09:12] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, is there some specific activity/aspect you have in mind or why the question?
[09:13] Diana Coman: from my point of view I'd say the most matching description would likely be that of creative game but afaik this is not even an established category as such
Day changed to 2026-06-22
[01:24] Felicia Solecrimp: I was thinking on the quest that i heard before
[01:24] Felicia Solecrimp: or do things like puzzles but i wont change eulora if thats the way it is im starting to understand how things are
[01:24] Felicia Solecrimp: happy fathers day
[03:17] Felicia Solecrimp: I've learn a lot from myself I need Vivian to travel more often haha
[08:19] Diana Coman: Felicia Solecrimp, players in e2 can *create* quests (as well as take on those that exist if/when others create them). Hence the creative category - the game is itself generative and it enables players to create, first of all, in a very wide sense. Even puzzles if they want to, I don't see why not. And as always, if players do something interesting and they need more support from the game, I'll aim to provide it, certainly.
[17:34] Diana Coman: http://ossasepia.com/2026/06/02/Notices-and-Announcements-Logs-for-Jun-2026/#255 - congrats!

I have currently only 2.5k cdg q1 remaining - do you want this or would you rather wait until I get the full 5k? I was out precisely in the cdg patch to replenish but it looks set to take at least 1 day more to get to 5k q1.

[16:48] Faith Kidneyguard: Raphael Nethersmell, I am currently at 34.43 99.55 41.22 in Preposterously Prosperous Place
