diana_coman: quite the wonderful world this eulora: everyone has everything and doesn't need anything [13:15]
mircea_popescu: lol. [13:25]

mircea_popescu: aand in other news my pos internet simply cuts out every hour or so. can't craft now ;/ [15:31]
diana_coman: lol! [15:48]

diana_coman: !QAuctionCancel 125 [16:52]
lobbesbot: AUCTION # 125 was cancelled by diana_coman [16:52]
mircea_popescu: tis true, i have ibs made for all mah needs! [16:52]
diana_coman: apparently needs are in short supply or something [16:53]
diana_coman: in other news: 'tis a pleasure to watch the mixing of loads of things, ha; esp when it turns out it needs more than 200 passes lmao [16:54]
mircea_popescu: did you implement the automix thing ? [16:57]
diana_coman: aha [16:57]
mircea_popescu: cool [16:58]
diana_coman: and mixing all those pesky maculatures that clog my storage [16:58]
mircea_popescu: got a lot ? [16:59]
diana_coman: the nicest thing is that I can drop/adjust stuff as it goes and it doesn't care, hih [16:59]
mircea_popescu: yeah lol, robustness is like the greatest asset of automation. [16:59]
diana_coman: but server is idiot when stacks are big i.e. if you try to move 4k + 4k from two 5k stacks or something [17:00]
mircea_popescu: deeply satisfying to watch [17:00]
diana_coman: ha, I thought it was only me/ effect of seeing result of work...at work, lol [17:00]
mircea_popescu: i dunno about that. [17:01]
diana_coman: it seems that it looks at sum of the 2 stacks from which the items come and if sum > 9999 then tough luck, no way [17:02]
diana_coman: even if result is actually less than 9999 [17:02]
diana_coman: the mysterious mysteries of planeshit thinking [17:02]
diana_coman: re maculature: not that much, about 4k , but they were all scattered 45 here and 90 there and all sorts of q,taking up space for nothing [17:03]
mircea_popescu: ya [17:06]
mircea_popescu: yup, disconnected again. [17:11]
mircea_popescu: just about on the hour, can't craft no mo ; [17:11]
diana_coman: costa rican internet with breaks to admire the green grass ? [17:12]
mircea_popescu: i have nfi why they're so useless, but utterly are. [17:13]
mircea_popescu: briefly had their OMFG UBER!!11 whatever-gbps service. it randomly got >10s pings, lasting anywhere from an hour to sixteen. bout twice weekly. otherwise yes, bw was as advertised, but wtf use is a gb link with minute-long pings ? might as well just mail the data, ALSO immense bandwidth high latency process. [17:14]
diana_coman: ahahaha [17:15]
mircea_popescu: and of course they have "customer support". i have nfi what that's supposed to do, or why the fuck they even bother. not having anything'd be just as useful and obviously cheaper. [17:15]
diana_coman: tbh it sounds like "we want to actually work, just that...well, we don't really know much, nor have who to ask/much of a clue" [17:16]
mircea_popescu: yea well... [17:16]
mircea_popescu: if i wanted nine year olds i'd impregnate the women. but i don't. [17:16]
diana_coman: it's 9 yo with customer support though : [17:21]
mircea_popescu: i'd rather wear a bra than use the "support" [17:21]
diana_coman: bwaahahha [17:21]
mircea_popescu: aaaand 5th idle click in a row. [17:40]
mircea_popescu: ima stop trying, otherwise ima end up having to compute 10's of k's worth of tool decay into the craft [17:41]
danielpbarron: i would have bid on the last 2 canceled auctions. just been busy :< [17:45]
danielpbarron: mircea_popescu, maybe you'd like to turn some of my grass into cft? [17:46]
danielpbarron: for some reason i have a bunch of it pre-bundled, and also many stacks of grass [17:47]
mircea_popescu: i had enough agravation for a day ; will just let it sit see tomorrow. [17:47]
mircea_popescu: total fucking bs, i've never seen this isp failure mode before. apparentyly it just resets connections. that's it. [17:49]
mircea_popescu: it's like dealing with comcast or some shit\ [17:49]
danielpbarron: does it effect only eulora or do you also drop from irc? [17:49]
danielpbarron: i ask because every so often i lose eulora connection but irc remains [17:50]
mircea_popescu: different interface [17:50]
danielpbarron: ah [17:50]
mircea_popescu: but it fucks up everything on that connection. it's literally like hurr durr we decided to rst everything. what do you mwan your internet dun werk ? [17:50]
mircea_popescu: because otherwise, eulora is VERY tolerant of lag. [17:52]
danielpbarron: i have a similar wtf. periodically a windows machine on my network cannot see at all the wifi network unless the router is restarted. and this is despite the fact that ~all~ other devices are connected fine, including wifi phones [17:52]
mircea_popescu: im not gonna take the machine apart. [17:52]
mircea_popescu: got too much self respect to try and debug computers. [17:53]
